What will it take for family businesses to grow and thrive in the future? How can we build success sustainably? Join us for a weekend of learning and building connections at Ruka!
We are happy to invite members of the international Next Gen community to join us for a weekend of inspiration, learning and building connections at the annual Winter Academy.
We will explore what it will take for family businesses to thrive and grow in the future, with special focus on sustainability.
On Friday we will take a seminar day trip to the nearby Oivangin Lomakartano (Oivanki holiday mansion). The program on Friday includes the family business story of Oivangin Lomakartano Oy and engaging group workshops. Topics of the workshops are "Imagining the Future Responsibility" by Elo + Fennia, "Does sustainability equal good business? How to succeed in the #ESG-world and leverage sustainability by focusing on material and most important issues?" by OP Financial Group and "Total impact model game: Moving from a shareholder to stakeholder model" by PwC.
On Saturday, the seminar continues at Ruka with an inspiring keynote "The Future of Growth" by Growth Tribe's Finland CEO Anssi Rantanen, as well as compelling family business cases by Brigitta Deák of Biofilter Environmental Co and Lauri Voipio of Novametor Oy.
Stay tuned for more programme updates as we get closer to the event! On top of the seminar program, there will be plenty of opportunities for winter sports, enjoying the nature at the Ruka ski-resort and building connections that will last a lifetime.
Sign up today and join us at Ruka for an unforgettable adventure!
